subscription. Round out your diet with some amazing local offerings for
both omnivores and herbivores. All add-ons can be picked up at the same time and location as your
produce subscription.

Winter 2012-2013 Add-Ons
NYS Artisan Cheese Subscription
Approx. ½ lb wedge of cheese/month
$55 for 5 months, pro-rated subscriptions available now - see Sign Up page for current pricing
Enjoy the finest New York State Artisan cheeses from the Finger Lakes to Cooperstown to the Hudson Valley. Each month we select one fabulous cheese for our members, providing a nice sampling of what NYS artisan cheesemakers have to offer, including cheeses with goat, sheep, and cow’s milk. For the true cheese lover, the 5-month share will include at least one soft or semi-soft cheese, one hard cheese suitable for grating, and one deliciously smelly cheese. Information about each cheese and maker will be provided each month. We have featured cheeses in the past from Krugerrand Farms, Berle Farm, Keeley's Cheese Co., Dutch Girl Cheese, Lively Run Goat Dairy, Nettle Meadow Farm, and Cooperstown Cheese Company. This year's share will offer cheeses from some of the same producers, as well as some new selections.
NYS Pasta Subscription
2 packages of pasta per month (12 oz/package)

These hearty and delicious pastas are made by Flour City Pasta in Fairport, NY and Northern Farmhouse Pasta in Roscoe, NY from NYS-grown, organic grain. We will be featuring a variety of whole grain and flavored pasta, and the 5-month share will include an assortment of long and short cuts (such as fettucine, mafaldine, and orzo). You haven't tasted pasta like this before!
Vegetarian/Vegan Protein Subscription
2 items per month
$45 for 5 months, pro-rated subscriptions available now - see Sign Up page for current pricing
For this add-on, we have selected an assortment of our favorite vegetarian protein sources made in our region, including plain and flavored tofu, seitan, dry beans, and locally made veggie burgers. Producers are likely to include Ithaca Soy, Susie’s Seitan, Gianforte Farm, Cayuga Pure Organics, and Down To Earth Whole Foods. All items included in the share are vegan and most of the items are made from locally sourced ingredients. Great for vegetarians, vegans, and omnivores alike!
Full Plate Farm Collective Fresh Veggie Share
FULL FOR THIS SEASON
Want even more fresh produce this winter? We're partnering with The Full Plate Farm Collective to enable Extended Harvest customers to add on an extra 1/2 bushel box of fresh produce to their December, January, and February shares. This option is only available to customers who pick up their share at Down to Earth. A typical 3-month Full Plate Winter CSA share will consist of the following certified organic vegetables from near Ithaca: potatoes, carrots, onions, other root vegetables, cooking greens (kale, collards, etc), and a few other items such as winter squash, cabbage, kohlrabi, salad mix, pickled vegetables, or frozen green beans. The Full Plate Binghamton Winter CSA is $90 for 3 boxes of fresh farm veggies. Please visit their website to sign up. We’ve done the work of tasting and testing these products, and we’ve chosen the best of what’s available for you to sample. These are items we love so much we always keep them in our pantry, and we think you’ll want to as well! This box includes NYS oil, vinegar, juice (shelf stable), flour, dry beans, and polenta.
